About The Eau Claire Children’s Museum

Offering non-traditional learning opportunities that help kids of all ages see, touch, learn, and grow in their own way towards and through developmental milestones, The Children’s Museum of Eau Claire resides at 126 N. Barstow Street. The Children’s Museum has been around since 2000, starting as a thought brought to life by Patrick Rebman, a father who wanted to create a fun, safe, educational space for children!

He secured the location in 2001, with exhibits finally built in 2004. The museum’s first five custom-made exhibits included the Toddler Park, Bitty City, and Kidstruction Zone. Furthermore, The Children’s Museum opened its doors in December 2004 and welcomed over 53,000 visitors within its first operating year!

To this day, there have been over 3,500 family members served. The Children’s Museum also boasts a dedicated team of over 37 staff members and volunteers, all passionate about education and having fun.
