Every mama knows those first few months with a new baby are some of the most emotional and precious of your life. No matter what your experience is during this time, you are beautiful completely as you are, and it is my job, (and honor), to document those very fleeting moments. Your baby's milk stained lips, tiny fingers and toes, and soft back fuzz - I want you to remember it all. I want to make sure you have these images to look back on for the rest of your lives together.

When I arrived in the MN home of this sweet family I was greeted by beautiful natural morning light pouring in the windows of their living room, and familiar sounds of children talking and playing. One of the, (many), benefits of opting for an in-home newborn session is me coming to you; and if you have other small children, you know the weight of not having to get everyone ready for a photoshoot! We were able to take our time as Lydia nursed and fed the newest sweet member of the family, and went completely by her schedule with no rush or stress. It was simply magical.

Danielle and her husband welcomed me into their Hudson home so graciously at the arrival of their sweet little girl. As first time parents they did so amazingly well as they let me capture precious moments in their home during the first weeks of their little one's life outside the womb. A nursery made for a princess, along with a Moses basket I like to bring at the request of my clients, were the perfect details to add to their carefully curated gallery.

That's why the experience you'll receive is so much more than beautiful images. I pamper you through the entire process from start to finish, so the only thing you need to focus on is you sweet new babe.
Easy booking and flexible scheduling, boutique wardrobe gowns for you to borrow for your session, a personal online portal and customized slideshow for you to see your images for the first time during your ordering appointment, and design and styling assistance of heirloom prints and products. It doesn't get much simpler than this!

The newborn phase of life is lovingly referred to by many Eau Claire WI photographers as the fuzzy years because it all goes by so fast.
Once you fill out my contact form at the bottom of this page, you can expect an email back from me very soon! The more details you provide about your due/guess date and your vision for your session the better I can begin to immediately serve you. I take a limited number of newborn sessions per month to allow for flexibility with scheduling.

1. Say Hello
After you reach out, I'll send you my detailed pricing guide - there's a LOT of information in there you're going to want to look at like common FAQ's and professional printing details. You'll also be sent all 3 forms to book such as my client agreement, questionnaire and retainer invoice.
After those 3 items are completed, you're officially booked!
2. Schedule it
Next I'll walk you through the fun details like nailing down your expected timeframe date, how to best prepare for your session, and wardrobe assistance. I'll also go over all the things you'll need to know so once you arrive at your session you'll feel stress-free and ready to snuggle your beautiful new baby.
3. Planning it
You can expect your session to feel like cozy relaxed family time, with lots of baby kisses and snuggles and all the comforts of home.
I will gently guide and pose you, and we will go completely at baby's pace so there is no rush. In-home & In-studio sessions take place during week day mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and typically last 90 minutes to 2+ hours to ensure plenty of breaks for feedings.
My goal is for you to simply enjoy your precious new baby while I capture every detail.
4. Your Session
Within 2-3 weeks you'll receive an email from me saying your images and online slideshow are ready for your viewing. You'll choose a 24 hour timeframe to view your online slideshow and gallery for the first time from the comfort of your home, (don't worry, you'll have tissues ready!), and you'll make your purchase selections from my a la carte menu where you'll buy only everything you love!
After you've emailed me your digital and/or artwork order, all that's left after this is to enjoy those images and products in your home for years to come!

I had a maternity session with Kyla at 37 weeks with my one-and-a-half-year-old son and husband. Being this far along with my pregnancy finding myself ‘beautiful’ has been a struggle.
